Client: SME engineering manufacturer, low volume components, large variety of parts and processes.
Scope: Initial Feasibility audit to determine global sourcing potential and then implement & manage new supply chain for first year, training the client to manage all aspects thereafter.
Execution: A Review of business system data identified global sourcing potential with annual cost saving expected in excess of £100k. S4S Ltd managed the first year of production deliveries, including transfer of knowledge, full sampling and approval, Purchase Order control & all Logistics and cost control of the new supply chain. Expediting and quality control revealed more improvements and secured actual savings beyond those targeted.
